以舒适积极的方式寻求慰藉 社交媒体有助排解孤独感

社交媒体已经成为人们日常生活不可或缺的一环,尤其突如其来的新冠肺炎疫情,让居家防疫的人们更加离不开与外界连接,相互取暖的社交媒体。有人说,社交媒体带来的只是短暂的快乐,但与此同时,何尝不是疗愈了很多人的孤独感?

社交媒体鼓励分享愉悦瞬间、美好的记忆和各种带来正面能量的照片,也支持互动交流,得以让人建立和维持联系,拉近距离。它同时扮演“树洞”角色,让苦无倾吐对象或不想和别人吐露心事的人借此倾诉,从孤独感或低落的情绪中挣脱出来。

研究表明,当社交媒体善用于增强现有关系或建立有意义的关系时,它能够有效的应对孤独。这也显示,孤独的人会透过社交媒体,以他们觉得舒服且积极的方式寻找慰藉,深化情谊或建立新的社交圈子。

打个比方,不少退休后的中老年人乐于在社交媒体大显身手,当起自媒体分享生活经验,日子过得充实还能赚点零花钱,何乐而不为?另外,时下年轻人下班后,在社交媒体上换一种思路放松身心,纾解压力,乐在其中,不失为排遣孤独的妙策。

无论如何,社交媒体是一把双刃剑,如果将社交媒体当作现实生活社交互动的替代品,或是对其过度依赖与期待,则会适得其反,更容易感到孤独。

其实,排解孤独靠的是优质的亲密关系,只有用心经营,寻求真正的现实互动,才能让人在屏幕之外摆脱孤独,感受温暖。
